Building on our past. Ready for the future

Worley is a global company of energy, chemicals and resources experts headquartered in Australia. We partner with our customers to deliver projects and create value across the life of their assets. We specialize in consulting, engineering, procurement and construction across the project lifecycle, with services extending through to operations and decommissioning. Leveraging extensive experience and AI-enabled delivery, we support customers in navigating complexity as they meet today's needs and transition to more sustainable solutions.

Job Purpose

The HSE Advisor provides generalist HSE support to Global HSE and/or Regional HSE teams across the Americas, EMEA, APAC and India. The role supports consistent application of Worley's HSE Management System, including performance reporting, HSE-related assurance activities, HSE improvement programs, and HSE inputs to proposals across projects, offices, and regions.

This role is intentionally broad and designed to build enterprise-level HSE capability over time. Advisors are expected to work flexibly across multiple elements of HSE management, progressively expanding their skills and exposure rather than operating only in narrow, task-based roles. The role operates within a global, matrixed environment and requires effective collaboration with Global HSE, Regional HSE, and other corporate functions. Advisors contribute under direction and guidance, applying sound judgement and identifying issues, trends, and improvement opportunities as part of normal service delivery.

Responsibilities

  1. General HSE Support — Deliver day-to-day HSE support and drive implementation and continuous improvement of Worley's HSE Management System, programs, and performance reporting.

  2. HSE Assurance, Audits and Assessments — Support assurance activities, audits, assessments, and follow-up of corrective/preventive actions and HSE-related actions.

  3. Proposals, Programs and Risk Support — Provide HSE input to proposals, tenders, risk workshops, and improvement/change initiatives.

  4. Systems, Data and Digital Enablement — Maintain the integrity and effective use of HSE systems, tools, and digital/AI-enabled analytics.

  5. Legal Compliance and Governance — Support HSE legal compliance registers, evidence libraries, and governance documentation.

  • Coordinate and steward close-out of overdue HSE-related actions with individual assignees.

  • Contribute to the coordination of HSE-related ISO-aligned activities (e.g., ISO 45001, ISO 14001) and e-compliance platforms as required by Regional or Global HSE.

Proposals, Programs and Risk Support

  • Support HSE inputs to proposals and tenders, including preparation of HSE plans, responses, and supporting materials.
  • Participate in proposal-phase qualitative risk workshops and risk activities on behalf of the HSE function, as required.
  • Support the implementation of HSE improvement programs and change initiatives.

Systems, Data and Digital Enablement

  • Support the effective use and integrity of HSE systems and tools (e.g., Assurance System, learning platforms, SharePoint-based solutions, and PowerBI).
  • Assist with HSE-related data quality checks, user support, and system-related guidance.
  • Actively adopt and promote digital tools, automation, and AI-enabled analytics to improve efficiency and insight quality.
