Your Job

This role focuses on validating embedded automotive systems through comprehensive system and system integration testing. The engineer is responsible for creating test strategies, developing and executing manual and automated test cases, analyzing results, and reporting defects. The position requires expertise in automotive communication protocols such as CAN and LIN, test automation using CAPL and Python, and compliance with ASPICE and V-Model processes. Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills are essential to ensure product quality and reliability.


Our Team

The System Test Team is responsible for ensuring that automotive embedded systems meet customer requirements, functional expectations, and quality standards. The team develops and executes system and integration test cases, validates hardware and software interactions, and identifies defects through manual and automated testing. Working closely with development, requirements, and project teams, they ensure compliance with automotive standards such as ASPICE and support the delivery of reliable, safe, and high-quality products


What You Will Do

  • Review of system test requirements 
  • Define and execute System and System Integration Test cases based on System Requirement for embedded automotive systems.
  • Prepare system test plan/strategy/test cases, execute the test cases (manual/automation), analyze, and submit the test reports.
  • Review and update of test scripts as necessary. 
  • Execute, Analyze and review the test results and report issues. 
  • Create test automation concepts based on defined test strategy. 
  • Documentation, pre-analysis, and reporting of test results 
  • Setup and maintain traceability in compliance with Automotive SPICE 


Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Bachelors or master’s in Engineering in the field of Electrical / Electronics & Communications Engineering or Computer science or equivalent
  • Good understanding of embedded Systems (electronics and software) 
  • Good understanding of automotive communication protocols such as CAN and LIN
  • Experience with tools such as CANoe, CANalyzer, and other CAN-based tools
  • Good understanding and expertise on black- and grey box system testing (Functional/Nonfunctional/Safety/Performance)
  • Strong expertise in black-box and grey-box system testing (functional, non-functional, safety, and performance)
  • Good knowledge of automotive processes, including V-Model, ASPICE, and Agile methodologies
  • Experience in system testing of features like CAN, UDS, Power Module, USB, NFC, Thermal, SIT, Software Update, WCH, and functional safety-related system requirements.
  • Experience in developing CAPL, Python-based test automation scenarios, and scripts using Robot Framework.

What Will Put You Ahead

  • ISTQB certification or similar 
  • Knowledge of wireless charging technology, Qi standards, or automotive USB applications is beneficial.
  • Proficiency with tools such as Polarion, DOORS, Git, and SVN.
