Forecasting Analyst

1. Candidate should have exposure in S&OP Process and mainly in Production Scheduling / Forecasting
2. Handson Experience required in Data querying/ Python/GCP/PBI/LLM Generative AI/Excel Advanced / Power automate
3. This position is responsible for centrally managing vehicle forecasts for the IMG region using the GOTD suite of systems (OGMF / CFF), ensuring option-level forecasts align with the supply base, maintaining take rates in line with market requirements and supplier capacity, and supporting IT enhancements for improvements.

• Ensure Option level feature forecasting for VO Plants
• Coordinate with Sales, Market, Codification, Operations Planning, VMC / VP and Plant teams 
• Ensure to connect with Markets / Sales on every month to arrive the market mix for Optional Features based on the Real order Mix trend
• Develop forecasts for vehicle features based on requirements from IMG Market Sales companies in alignment with the Manufacturing Operating plan and maintain the data in the Forecasting system
• Maintain major program codes, lead markets, and controllable features in the Material Forecast (MF) system based on Program Direction Letters. Review and concur with Program-related Change Request Forms (CRFs), confirming supportability from a forecasting perspective.
• Monitor the accuracy of the material release when options or model mix are changed before requirements are released to the supply base. 
• Ensure to provide 52-week weekly planning releases to suppliers, adhering to allocation and operating plans, and controlling volume releases within vessel batching priorities.
• Ensure to perform Forecast based on Sales / Op Plan changes considering all constraints (Manufacturing & Supply base) and sales requirements (Vessel priority, Market prioritization)
• Prepare and Monitor Weekly Reports – Releases Analysis to ensure Manual VI Input vs output for CMMS Releases, Manufacturing Capacity vs Releases, Supplier capacity vs Releases, Vessel Priority input vs output and Market Mix vs Forecast Mix  
• Provide controllable feature rates for future model years in MF based on study mix (12 months prior to launch); obtain and update baseline optional feature market mix monthly in the Controllable Feature Forecast (CFF) system; and validate weekly market mix against forecasts for 100% adherence.
• Assume lead role as OGMF / CFF Entity Master, responsible for identifying & resolving forecasting errors and maintaining system integrity.
• Introduce and evolve new model forecast and liaise with core departments (Sales, Operations planning, Codification, PPM and Vehicle program teams) to get pre-build orders into the releases.
• Support to achieve Dept Objectives / Metrics – Material Release stability, Forecast accuracy etc
• Able to identify the area where he/she can streamline business process/ eliminate waste / implement Automation 
• To Lead and transform team to look into digital solutions, focus on AI capabilities and streamline the process 

Education Qualification - B.E/B.Tech with 3-5 Yrs of Expereince
