About the Role

As an accountant you will manage financial records and ensure compliance with regulations, with a focus on balance sheet reconciliations. You'll be reporting to the France Finance Manager, with a dotted line to the Regional Financial Controller 

 

Main Responsibilities

  • Own and manage the month-end close process across all entities, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
  • Review monthly financial results and investigate key variances, ensuring completeness and accuracy of financial information.
  • Prepare and review monthly balance sheet reconciliations, with a strong focus on account accuracy, completeness, and timely resolution of reconciling items. This role has a strong balance sheet focus, and proven experience in preparing, reviewing, and resolving balance sheet reconciliations is essential.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, legal, statutory, and tax reporting requirements, including support for local statutory audits and group audits.
  • Manage bank accounting for Compusoft France, Innobain, and Applications across seven bank accounts, including transaction posting, controls, and bank reconciliations.
  • Support the 2026 year-end closing process across all entities.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency, accuracy, and control of finance processes.
  • Work closely with the wider Finance team to ensure group accounting policies, processes, and procedures are consistently followed.
  • Partner with finance and non-finance stakeholders across the Cyncly community, providing high-quality support and fostering strong working relationships in a French-speaking business environment.

 

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • ACA/ACCA  or equivalent Qualified accountant with at least 2 years PQE
  • Experience in preparing management accounts
  • Solid financial reporting and technical skills
  • Strong planning skills well organised and attention to detail
  • Experience in a global, multi-cultural environment
  • Ideally practice trained with a couple of years of Industry experience.
  • Fluent French Speaker
