Field Operations and Sales Executive

1. Field Operational Support: · Support the third-party field team to ensure efficient and effective execution- delivering the “Perfect store”.· Setting expectations (in collaboration with Sales Team) and ensuring strong compliance via audits / accountability to the execution of agreed plans. · Complete internal post activity reviews (photos, compliance %, ROI and key learnings – working with the category team)· Educate internal stakeholders on the KPIs and ROI achieved for each field event, with test & learns tracked across each customer and channel.
2. Field Sales Support:
· Complete store visits as part of call cycle to win in Independents stores via improved distribution, promotional off locations and NPD ranging.
· Complete occasional store visits in Corporate Grocery aligned to key activations to ensure compliance and best in class execution.
· Utilise time in field learnings to feed into briefing documents for third party provider.
· Report back to business on any new news in NPD, activations and pricing mechanics in the market.
3. Team Coordination:
· Assist in leading and managing the relationship with the third-party field providers Client Services Support person.
· Support in building out Quarterly Business Reviews under the supervision and support of the Business Manager- Distributors, P&C & Field Operations.
· Participate in regular internal team meetings to communicate objectives, activity updates, and address challenges as they arise.
· Collaborate with the category, sales and marketing teams to build strong sales tool kits to support field operations (example one pager sell ins).
4. Resource Assistance:
· Help allocate and manage resources such as Merchandiser minutes, Rep priorities, pre-sells, Sales and distribution targets for core and NPD.
· Ensure proper maintenance and utilization of operational resources and technology.
5. Compliance and Safety:
· Ensure all field activities comply with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards.
6. Reporting and Documentation:
· Prepare and submit regular reports on field operations, performance metrics, and incident reports under supervision (Compliance, learnings and actions).
· Maintain accurate records of field activities, resource utilization, and team performance (maintained on Sales SharePoint Page).
· Populate investment tracker detailing field cost spend each month.
- Ideally tertiary qualified: Bachelor of business / commerce

Key Responsibilities

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Prior Field / Sales experience – Ideally as a Sales Rep in Independents Channel for minimum 1-2 years.- Ideally tertiary qualified: Bachelor of business / commerce
- Strong communication skills
