Job Description

We are seeking a strategic and analytically-minded Sustainability Manager to join our organization in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this pivotal role, you will lead the development and execution of comprehensive sustainability initiatives that align with our corporate objectives and contribute to Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 goals. The ideal candidate will drive organizational change through data-driven decision-making, stakeholder collaboration, and a commitment to environmental and social responsibility.

  • Develop, implement, and oversee sustainability strategies and programs that align with organizational goals and regulatory requirements
  • Analyze environmental, social, and governance (ESG) metrics and prepare detailed reports for senior management and external stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with local and international sustainability standards, certifications, and regulations
  • Manage sustainability projects from conception through completion, including budget allocation and resource planning
  • Engage with internal departments and external stakeholders to identify sustainability opportunities and drive organizational change
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of sustainability initiatives through key performance indicators (KPIs) and continuous improvement processes
  • Develop and deliver training programs to build organizational awareness and capacity around sustainability practices
  • Research emerging sustainability trends, technologies, and best practices relevant to the industry and region
  • Collaborate with supply chain partners to promote sustainable practices and reduce environmental impact
  • Prepare sustainability reports and communications for corporate leadership, investors, and regulatory bodies

Qualifications

**Required Skills and Experience:**

  • 15 years of professional experience in sustainability management, environmental compliance, or related field
  • Demonstrated expertise in developing and implementing sustainability strategies and programs
  • Strong knowledge of ESG frameworks and sustainability reporting standards
  • Proficiency in data analysis and environmental metrics assessment
  • Experience with sustainability certifications (ISO 14001, B Corp, or equivalent)
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills
  • Strong communication and presentation abilities
  • Budget management and financial analysis experience
  • Knowledge of environmental regulations and compliance requirements

**Preferred Skills and Experience:**

  • Experience working in the Middle East or GCC region
  • Familiarity with Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 sustainability initiatives
  • Background in carbon footprint assessment and greenhouse gas accounting
  • Experience in supply chain sustainability and circular economy principles
  • Proven track record in stakeholder engagement and change management
  • Knowledge of renewable energy and energy efficiency programs
  • Experience with sustainability software and reporting platforms
