Then join us in our mission to pioneer smarter solutions for moving and transforming water, reducing energy consumption, and enhancing quality of life for people .As our new CBS Finance Business Partner, China, you will be serving as the single point of contact between CBS China leadership and the global finance organization, co-owning the strategic agenda and translating it into clear financial roadmaps, ambitious targets, and data-driven decisions across the full value chain.
What you will be doing
As a key part of the CBS Finance Business Partnering team, you'll create impact by driving profitability improvement and strategic transformation of the China business. You’ll rapidly build strong business proximity, engaging directly with customers and commercial teams to translate financial insights into impactful actions.
Your main responsibilities include:
- Act as trusted Finance Business Partner to CBS China leadership, co-owning strategy development and delivering forward-looking insights that proactively influence business decisions
- Lead annual target setting, budgeting, forecasting, and business reviews while establishing robust KPIs linked to performance and incentive structures
- Drive pricing strategy and profitability mindset with Sales, supporting key customer negotiations through fact-based financial insights and developing business cases for strategic investments
- Champion the Finance Delivery Model by continuously improving financial processes, driving simplification, and embedding a performance management culture
- Actively leverage AI, Copilot, and digital agents daily to automate reporting, enhance forecasting, and identify AI-driven finance use cases that increase impact and efficiency
- Ensure strong internal controls, governance, and full transparency of financial data aligned with Grundfos standards
What makes you a great fit
Above all, you are a globally minded, results-driven finance leader with a challenger mindset — curious, analytical, and unafraid to question assumptions — who thrive in complex matrix organizations. We would also imagine that you have:
- Master's degree in accounting or finance with 5-8+ years of full value chain financial management experience
- Strong financial, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities with hands-on experience translating complex data into compelling executive-level business narratives
- Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and deliver results through others in a complex, global matrix setup with strong personal accountability
- Fluency in English and strong willingness and readiness for global mobility both during and after the assignment, with the expectation to take on a next role outside China following this position.
- Mandarin Chinese language capabilities are considered a strong advantage to effectively engage with local stakeholders and customers.
You'll also be available for travelling average 40 days per year.
