WHAT YOU’LL DO
As a Software Engineer in the Transport & Trade Tech Area within the Supply Chain Domain, you will contribute to building and enhancing scalable, high-performance enterprise applications that support H&M’s global business operations. You will apply your expertise across the Software Development Life Cycle, from requirements gathering and solution design to development, testing, deployment, and continuous improvement.
You will design, develop, and maintain modern cloud-native applications using .NET technologies and Azure services. Working closely with Product Managers, Engineering Managers, Designers, and fellow engineers, you will deliver solutions that enable intelligent, fast, and flexible order fulfilment across H&M’s ecosystem.
You will write clean, efficient, and maintainable code, participate in code reviews, troubleshoot technical issues, and contribute to optimizing application performance. You will also support the team's adoption of best engineering practices, CI/CD automation, and AI-assisted development tools to enhance productivity and code quality.
WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
You will be part of the External Sales Fulfilment Adapter product team, a collaborative and innovative team responsible for enabling seamless integrations and fulfilment capabilities across H&M’s ecosystem.
You will work closely with Product Development, Engineering, and other cross-functional teams across the Supply Chain Domain, partnering with stakeholders throughout H&M to deliver customer-centric and business-driven solutions.
WHO YOU ARE
We are looking for people with…
- 3-5 years of experience as a Software Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in C#, ASP.NET, and .NET Core.
- Experience developing backend services and working with both relational (SQL) and non-relational databases.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and software design patterns.
- Knowledge of unit and integration testing frameworks such as NUnit or xUnit, along with mocking frameworks.
- Experience working with Azure services including App Service, Functions, Container Apps, Cosmos DB, Service Bus, Event Grid, Storage Accounts, Key Vault, and App Configuration.
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
- Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and experience deploying applications using Azure Container Registry (ACR) and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
- Experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools and intelligent automation to improve engineering effectiveness and software quality.
- Frontend development experience with Vue.js or React is considered an advantage.
