Executes defined sourcing and procurement activities while contributing to cost optimization, supplier performance improvement, and risk mitigation initiatives. Applies data-driven analysis to support sourcing decisions and category strategies.

Job Requirements

• Implement sourcing strategy for responsible commodities, identify savings and risk opportunities, drive material productivity.
• Select, Qualify and Manage suppliers to build solid supplier base per strategy.
• NPI/Migration projects support with right source (quality, cost, service) for business grow needs from kickoff to mass production.
• Supporting sourcing initiatives by preparing RFQs, analyzing bids, and documenting sourcing related contracts or agreements.
• Drive VAVE Projects cross functionally.
• Drive material localization efforts to achieve cost reduction and delivery service flexibility.
• Supplier quality improvement together with SQE to achieve DLPM target.
• Collaborating with supply chain and operations to support continuity of supply.
• Mainly responsible for procurement activities of Medical Suzhou/Japan business, also support other medical sites globally.
• Any other work assigned by manager.

What your background should look like

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably engineering background with mechanical or Electronic.
• >8 years procurement experience or related functions, manufacturing environment is a plus, medical industry related preferred.  
• Fluent in Japanese is a must, English communication is an advantage.
• Good communication skills, integrity, accountability
