Based just outside Yanco, between the popular townships of Leeton and Narrandera in the heart of the Murrumbidgee Irrigation district (or Riverina region), our location ensures the ability to source high quality feeder cattle and grain to produce premium beef. The plant employs approximately 500 team members with a processing capacity of 600 head of cattle per day, operating 5 days per week.

About the Role
This position reports to the Boning Room Manager, and will involve working Monday to Friday, and as well as, the required Saturday. The successful applicant will demonstrate a commitment to JBS and where necessary participate in future training as provided by the company.

About You
- Proven leadership and people management skills, with the ability to effectively supervise and support team members.
- Demonstrated commitment to achieving and maintaining the highest standards of food safety, workplace safety, and brand integrity.
- Sound technical knowledge and understanding of meat processing operations and practices.
- Strong ability to build positive working relationships, engage employees, and motivate a diverse workforce.
- Proven capability to manage and reduce absenteeism and employee turnover while maintaining productivity and operational performance.
- Well-developed organisational and planning skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
- Ability to maintain an appropriate workforce skill mix to maximise productivity, efficiency, and operational outcomes.
- Highly developed time management skills, including the ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
