Job Identification

We are seeking a Finance Associate to ensure strong governance, accuracy, and compliance across inventory, fixed assets, spare parts, and distributor stock management processes. The role is responsible for inventory controls, asset safeguarding, compliance monitoring, disposal processes, stock audits, and continuous improvement initiatives across all operational locations.

What We Expect
  • Coordinate and oversee inventory counts, including Raw Materials, Finished Goods, Empties, Marketing Materials, Spare Parts, Fixed Assets, Distributor Inventories, and Surprise Counts
  • Ensure compliance with inventory-related procedures, policies, and work instructions, while maintaining a strong internal control environment
  • Safeguard company assets and inventories through effective monitoring, verification, and control activities
  • Monitor storage conditions and inventory practices across plants and warehouses to ensure compliance with company standards
  • Manage and monitor scrap sales processes, identifying risks, anomalies, and opportunities for process improvement
  • Coordinate asset and inventory disposal activities, including documentation, approvals, valuation processes, and system updates
  • Monitor and review Fixed Asset records and movements within SAP, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Prepare and analyze inventory stock control, idle asset, marketing materials, and operational control reports
  • Participate in distributor and market audits, warehouse closures, inventory reconciliations, and control reviews
  • Track scrap inventories and follow up on action plans with relevant stakeholders
  • Create and monitor RFAs (Requests for Authorization) related to inventory and asset management activities
  • Review incoming and outgoing inventory documentation and prepare weighbridge and interim control reports
  • Review SAP authorization requests for Finance users and coordinate required corrections with relevant teams
  • Deliver training and awareness sessions on inventory, asset control, distributor audit, and related compliance procedures
  • Support payment control processes and contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
  • Experience in Inventory Control, Asset Management, Internal Control, Audit, Finance, or Supply Chain Operations
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management, stock control, fixed asset accounting, and compliance processes
  • Experience working with SAP or similar ERP systems
  • Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional stakeholders across multiple locations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English
