As a Mid-Level OneStream Developer, you will build, test, and integrate core platform components and financial logic. Operating between entry-level configuration and senior platform architecture, you will own technical delivery for key modules, write custom business rules, design data integrations, and support compliance and security efforts.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Configure and maintain Workflow Profiles, Confirmation Rules, Transformation Rules, and Data Management sequences to support complex financial reporting and budgeting processes (including federal budgeting standards where applicable).
- Build and customize Cube Views, BI Viewer dashboards, Extensible Documents, and custom reports to deliver accurate, actionable financial insights for executive leadership and operational management.
- Design, build, and optimize data conversion and data load artifacts, SQL scripts, database views, and staging tables for smooth data migration, extraction, and validation across all project phases.
- Support platform integrations, security model configuration, Single Sign-On (SSO) setup, and technical documentation required for system governance and compliance packages (e.g., ATO compliance).
- Actively participate in all SDLC phases (systems analysis, design, build, configuration, and testing); perform unit testing, root-cause trace analysis, and system performance tuning on application components and custom code.
- Identify technical risks, formulate mitigation options, and escalate unresolved blockers to project management to ensure high-quality software solutions and on-time project delivery.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 5+ years of overall experience in software engineering, systems design, database management, cloud environments, or software deployment.
- 3+ years of hands-on OneStream development experience (or equivalent CPM/EPM platform development experience demonstrating a track record of successful project delivery).
- 1+ years of experience with OneStream XF configuration, installation support, or optimization.
- Proficiency in object-oriented programming using C# or VB.NET, along with practical SQL experience (SQL Server or Oracle) for data manipulation and querying.
- Functional understanding of Corporate Performance Management (CPM) or Federal Financial Management concepts (e.g., Consolidations, Budgeting/Forecasting, Reconciliation, PPBE).
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems.
- OneStream Certified Specialist (OCS) in Reports & Dashboards or Financial Close, or OneStream Certified Professional (OCP) – Core Platform.
- Hands-on experience setting up Single Sign-On (SSO) and assisting with federal Authority to Operate (ATO) compliance procedures.
- Prior experience in professional services or federal IT consulting environments.
- CompTIA Security+ certification.
