Job DescriptionThis position is unclassified pursuant to section 124.11(A)(8) of the Ohio Revised Code.
The State of Ohio Dental Board is seeking an individual to perform the following duties:
• Serving as the Executive Assistant to the Director, including scheduling board and external meetings, managing confidential matters, and providing administrative support to the Commission and staff.
• Overseeing and coordinating the Educational Programs with the Board’s Education Committee.
• Coordinating information for the Board’s website, listserv, social media platforms, and newsletter, including updating content and running analytics.
• Conducting audits of Continuing Education Credits for licensees of the Board.

Qualifications30 months experience or 30 months training in secretarial/administrative professional field.
-Or completion of associate core coursework in secretarial science or business office applications from accredited career school or community college AND 12 mos. experience in secretarial/administrative professional field.
-Or 12 months experience as Administrative Professional 2,16872.
-Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications For Employment noted above.

Unless otherwise required by legislation or union contract, salary will be set at the lowest rate of the salary range with gradual increases in accordance with the Ohio Revised Code.
