Hydro Building Systems, with more than 900 employees in France, is a division of the Hydro Group, the world leader in extruded aluminum solutions. Our business: the design and distribution of aluminium systems for building finishing work through our Technal, Wicona and Sapa brands.
Hydro Building Systems France is headquartered in Toulouse. Around 700 people work on this integrated site, which brings together the main activities of our value chain: spinning, RPT, lacquering, logistics (aluminium profile and accessory depots), not to mention support functions, R&D, marketing, etc. A true showcase for the Group, this 17-hectare tree-lined site also has a technical and innovation center in which prototypes and tests are carried out.
Your Mission
Based at our headquarters in Toulouse and reporting to the Deputy Accounting and Tax Manager, as chief accountant, your scope of intervention includes general accounting and local taxes for our industrial company. You will be responsible for the quality and reliability of accounting information as well as the establishment and reporting of local taxes with regard to French and international legislation, IFRS standards and Group obligations.
Key ResponsibilitiesYou are responsible for all general accounting entries, ensuring their control, justification and reliability. You will oversee monthly accounting reports as well as the closing of accounts (monthly and annual) with the support of 2 people whom you will supervise directly.
You are a privileged contact within the Finance department in regular interaction with the management control or IT departments. In this context, you will take part in discussions on the development of the accounting information system with the various operational contacts. You are required to participate in projects, you know how to manage deadlines, establish action plans to achieve objectives, communicate on the state of progress.
In partnership with the Finance Director and the Accounting & Tax Manager, you will be in contact with the Statutory Auditors and the tax authorities in their audit missions and will participate in exchanges with the other companies of the Group (in France or abroad) and the World Headquarters.
Your profileQualifications
- Higher education degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (DCG, DECF, Master's degree, Business School, or equivalent).
- Minimum 7 years of accounting experience within an international group environment.
Technical Skills
- Strong expertise in general accounting and financial reporting.
- Solid knowledge of IFRS standards.
- Experience working with ERP systems.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Good command of English, both written and spoken.
