What are your contributions to the team?
- Be part of the Electrical Wiring and Interconnection System (EWIS) Engineering team
- Support electrical wiring integration of aircraft system and structural configurations to produce customer wiring diagram designs and support harness deliveries
- Review and approve supplier deliverables (ESSD/PCD)
- Recommend and integrate wiring diagram design changes to meet customer configurations
- Engage with electrical system stakeholders and manage workload scheduling
- Create and maintain quality and productivity tracking tools
- Provide technical support on change management implementation (RFC, PCR, RFQ, PO, etc)
- Investigate, champion and integrate new EWIS SW tools
- Optimize EWIS processes
- Create and update EWIS BM, BAPS and Design guidelines
- Contribute by participating in other tasks depending on program needs and demonstrating flexibility to adapt
How to thrive in this role?
- You have a technical diploma or University degree in Aerospace, Avionics or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent work experience
- You have at least 3 years of relevant working experience in Aerospace
- You have wiring design, wiring installation and/or wiring troubleshooting experience
- You are familiar with Siemens Capital software or similar ECAD tools
- You must have excellent communication skills including the ability to read/write in English and French
- You have a strong sense of responsibility and have good integration/organizational skills and initiative
- You are innovative and open to new ideas
- You have the ability to resolve problems and conflicts
