What we are looking for
To strengthen our Defence & Aerospace activities in Italy, we are looking for talented Embedded Software Engineers interested in working on mission-critical systems and advanced technology platforms.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain embedded software components
- Implement real-time applications for mission-critical systems
- Develop low-level software, middleware and communication interfaces
- Collaborate with hardware, system and validation teams
- Support software integration and debugging activities
- Contribute to software verification and validation processes
- Produce technical documentation according to industry standards
Requirements
Mandatory:
- Degree in Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering or similar
- Experience in Embedded Software Development
- Good knowledge of C and/or C++
- Knowledge of Linux Embedded environments
- Experience with software debugging and troubleshooting
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle methodologies
- Good English communication skills
Preferred:
- RTOS (VxWorks, QNX, FreeRTOS)
- Device Driver development
- TCP/IP networking
- UML
- Git
- CI/CD environments
- previous experience in Defence, Aerospace or Railway field
