Do you want to work in a global company where you can contribute to a more sustainable food production? DeLaval is a leading developer, manufacturer, and supplier of solutions for dairy farmers around the world. As a company built on innovation, we constantly work to find ways of helping our customers do more with less.
Role and responsibilities
In this role, you will take a key position in maintaining and supporting DeLaval’s electronics products throughout their lifecycle. This is not a traditional development role, but a position focused on ensuring that our products remain available, reliable, and ready for production.
You will represent Product Development and work closely with our EMS partners as the main technical interface, handling topics such as component changes, supply challenges, and quality issues. The role involves managing multiple parallel topics and making practical decisions to keep production running with high quality.
You will also be responsible for our production test solutions, shaping requirements for new setups and driving improvements of existing ones together with suppliers.
The work is highly collaborative, involving close interaction with Sourcing, Product Owners, SQAs, and R&D. You contribute with a production and manufacturing perspective, supporting design reviews and helping ensure that our products are robust and well-suited for series production.
We believe you have a background in electronics, either through a degree or practical experience from areas such as production, test, or design. You have a solid understanding of electronics and feel comfortable making technical assessments and working with component-related topics.
Experience from manufacturing environments, production testing, or working with external suppliers is beneficial, but not required.
You enjoy working in a dynamic environment with a mix of technical questions and coordination. You are structured and take ownership of your tasks, while also being pragmatic and solution-oriented. Since the role involves many interfaces, you communicate clearly and feel comfortable collaborating with both internal teams and external partners.
Our core values Passion, People, Professionals and Partnerships connect individuals across entities and geographies. Success is far more than knowledge – it is strongly related to behaviour. At DeLaval we are all guided by our three behaviours: Set Direction, Make Things Happen and One DeLaval.
We offer you a workplace like no other, where state-of-the-art technology goes hand in hand with animal welfare. DeLaval is a part of the Tetra Laval Group together with Tetra Pak and Sidel. In addition, we offer:
- Secure employment and benefits from the collective agreement (occupational pension, work-related accident insurance).
- Parental leave compensation (approx. 10 percent of the employee's monthly salary).
- Wellness allowance of SEK 4 000/year.
- Private healthcare insurance.
- Flexible working hours and reduced working hours.
- 30 days paid annual leave.
