Core Responsibilities
As a Packing Engineer within our Platform Technology team, you will bridge the gap between creative R&D designs and high-performing production machinery. You will:
Drive Standardization & Improvement: Support the standardization of new packing equipment and spearhead the continuous improvement of our current systems.
Act as the project technical support, collaborating closely with project team on the development, design, and construction of specialized equipment.
Design & Test: Develop and test new equipment and packaging setups in strict compliance with current LEGO safety standards and guidelines.
Deliver Excellence: Ensure all new equipment meets rigid performance criteria, balancing safe operation, high quality, stability, satisfactory output, and optimal cost.

Do you have what it takes?
For this role, we prefer a student with a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field (such as Mechatronics, Automation, Robotics, or Electronics).
Our must-haves for the role:
Technical Design Mastery: Strong proficiency in mechanical design principles and a deep knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes.
CAD Software Expertise: Hands-on experience with CAD software for advanced design and modeling (specifically NX and AutoCAD).
Strong analytical skills for performing calculations and process simulations.
Nice-to-haves that will help you stand out:
Familiarity with project management principles, alongside a solid understanding of industry standards (ISO, EHS, Ergonomic standards) and basic project budgeting.
Communication & Organization: Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Experience working in a multicultural environment or with advanced manufacturing technologies.
Familiarity with Continuous Improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, or Prince2).
Language: Advanced, fluent English (C1/C2 level) for day-to-day international collaboration.
