Machines a wide variety of parts that make up the various products we offer in the marketplace.
High Level Roles & Responsibilities:
Has the authority, responsibility and accountability to:
- Operate machines and power equipment according to specific instructions for those machines power equipment.
- Manually set up each machine or pull up the computer program in the case of equipment for parts production.
- Run material through the machines checking for accuracy and quality.
- Perform timely and regular calibrations and perform preventive maintenance on machines you are responsible for.
- Ensure that the correct materials are being used for each product component.
- Identify and use correct tooling to perform each operation.
- Help ensure that 5S for the area are met.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Support the Quality Policy and Safety Policy.
- Support the Vision and Guiding Principles of Kimball International and the facility Priorities of Focus and management policies.
