We are looking for an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to take ownership of the management and development of our IT infrastructure, as well as the management of relationships with external partners and service providers (data centers, hosting/cloud providers, and system administration contractors). In this role, you will ensure the stability, security, and high availability of our infrastructure while actively participating in the planning and implementation of infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the entire IT infrastructure and supporting systems
  • Install, configure, test, and maintain operating systems (Windows Server and Linux), software, and system management tools
  • Manage relationships with external infrastructure service providers (data centers, hosting/cloud providers, system administration partners), including defining and monitoring SLAs, coordinating service delivery, and handling escalations
  • Plan, design, and implement infrastructure projects
  • Ensure the highest levels of system and infrastructure availability by developing, testing, and maintaining replication, backup, and disaster recovery plans
  • Oversee third-party access to data in cooperation with the Information Security team
  • Troubleshoot and resolve incidents and operational issues to improve system stability and performance.
  • Optimize existing systems and infrastructure to enhance performance and efficiency
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Software Engineering, Platform Engineering, and Information Security) and participate in meetings with external clients and stakeholders to define technical requirements
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation in accordance with internal quality standards and audit requirements
  • Continuously monitor, evaluate, recommend, and implement new technologies to improve operational efficiency
  • Participate in infrastructure budget planning and vendor selection

Qualifications you bring:

  • 5+ years of experience managing and overseeing/monitoring distributed IT infrastructure and systems
  • Hands-on experience with Windows Server, Linux environments, and virtualization platforms
  • Proven experience working with data centers and external hosting/cloud providers, including negotiating and managing Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
  • Solid understanding of database replication, backup strategies, and disaster recovery concepts
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for both hardware and software issues
  • Good knowledge of core networking protocols, including DNS, HTTP(S), TCP/IP, TLS, and SSH
  • Experience managing identity and access through Microsoft Entra ID, including Privileged Identity Management (PIM)
  • Strong vendor and partner management skills, with the ability to clearly communicate expectations and monitor service delivery
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across multiple teams and stakeholders
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English
  • Nice to have: experience working in a fintech or other regulated environment, with an understanding of security and compliance requirements related to third-party access to systems and data
