The MDU (Multi-Dwelling Unit) Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of multiple installation and service crews serving multi-dwelling properties. The MDU Manager ensures projects are completed safely, on time, within quality standards, and in accordance with customer expectations. This role provides leadership, coaching, and operational oversight while fostering a culture of safety, accountability, customer service, and continuous improvement.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Partner with customers and internal stakeholders to address service issues, project concerns, and escalated customer matters.
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with company policies, customer requirements, quality standards, and applicable regulations.
- Review and approve production reports, billing documentation, and project records to ensure accuracy and timely submission.
- Lead, direct, and support multiple installation and service crews across assigned projects and markets.

- Promote and enforce a strong safety culture by ensuring compliance with all company safety programs and OSHA requirements.
- Support special projects and operational initiatives, as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
High school Diploma or equivalent
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in the telecommunications, broadband, fiber optic, or cable industry.
Minimum of two (2) years of experience leading field operations, construction teams, or installation crews.
Strong knowledge of fiber optic and coaxial network infrastructure.
Demonstrated experience managing employee performance, productivity, and work quality.
Proficient with Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and Teams.
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Position Requirements:
Experience supporting MDU, broadband, fiber deployment, or telecommunications construction projects.
Experience working with customer billing, production reporting, and project financials.
Knowledge of telecommunications construction standards and best practices.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements
Ability to work in indoor and outdoor environments.
Frequent walking, standing, bending, reaching, climbing, and lifting.
Ability to lift and carry up to 70 pounds.
Ability to work in crawl spaces, utility areas, and other confined work environments when necessary.
Travel up to 50% based on business needs.
