TFE Hotels is seeking an experienced Security Manager to oversee security operations across our Auckland cluster properties, including hotel, residential and retail environments.

About the Role

Reporting to the Cluster Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for all security functions across the designated cluster hotels and associated residential and retail facilities. You will play a critical role in protecting our guests, residents, team members and assets while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and Body Corporate requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading day-to-day security operations across multiple properties.
• Managing security systems including CCTV, access control, alarm systems and key management.
• Conducting investigations into security incidents and preparing detailed reports.
• Liaising with Police, Fire and Emergency New Zealand, Immigration and other external agencies as required.
• Managing third-party security providers and contractors.
• Providing advice and support on building security, risk management and compliance matters.
• Maintaining tenant and owner security records and issuing breach notices where required.
• Delivering security training and awareness programmes for team members.
• Attending Body Corporate meetings and acting as the security subject matter expert.
• Identifying and implementing security improvement initiatives and projects.
• Supporting a culture of safety, professionalism and exceptional guest service.

What You'll Bring

Ideally you will have:

• Proven experience in a security management role within hospitality, accommodation, building management or a related environment.

• Strong knowledge of CCTV, investigations, risk management and compliance

• Experience coordinating external security providers, contractors and specialist services.
• Knowledge of security, privacy, and health and safety legislation.

• Calm, professional and solutions-focused with strong attention to detail

• Knowledge of strata-titled or mixed-use residential properties will be highly regarded.

• Effective communication that can influence and build trust.
