We're looking for a Registered Nurse to join our team on a full-time fixed-term contract through to 4 December 2026, working afternoon shifts on a consistent 4 shifts on, 2 shifts off roster, 32 hours per week. For nurses who appreciate knowing exactly when they're working and having structure around their week, this role offers a level of predictability that can be difficult to find.
In this position, you'll take ownership of clinical care delivery during your shift, coordinate care plans, support care staff, communicate with families, and ensure residents receive safe, high-quality care. You'll be trusted to use your clinical judgement while working alongside a team committed to resident wellbeing.
Beyond the care home, you'll help create a more connected care experience through Bupa's Blua app. By supporting care plan updates, wellbeing information, activities, and communication between residents, whānau, families, and care teams, you'll contribute to a shared care journey that keeps loved ones informed and engaged. It's meaningful work that strengthens connection, supports better health outcomes, and makes a real difference beyond day-to-day clinical care.

Hours & Roster Details:
- Employment Type: Fixed Term Full Time until 4-Dec-2026
- Hours: Average 32 hours per week
- Shift Time: Afternoon Shifts
- Roster Pattern: 4 shifts on, 2 shifts off (6-weekly roster across Monday - Sunday)
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide person-centred clinical care for residents in care homes across various levels of care.
- Lead a team of caregivers to provide the highest quality clinical care.
- Conduct medication rounds, manage care plans, and maintain accurate paperwork.
- Stand up and tell us where we can invest more to ensure continuous quality improvement.
Skills and Qualifications
You’ll help us make a real difference through your RN experience, personal passion, and empathy.
- Hold a current APC and NZ Nursing Council Registration.
- Excellent clinical skills in adult care and ideal aged care experience.
- Confident communication, interpersonal, and teamwork abilities.
