Siemens Energy is seeking an experienced and inspiring leader to head the 'Global Customer Operations (GCO)' department business within Siemens Energy India Limited. This role plays a critical part in supporting global Gas Services businesses by leading a large, local for global engineering and bid management organization.The position is responsible for driving the implementation of global strategies in alignment with India country policies, strengthening global competitiveness, and ensuring high-quality engineering and bid execution for worldwide customers.

 Your new role – challenging and future-oriented
Strategic & Business Leadership:• Implement and support Gas Services – Global Customer Operations strategies, objectives, and vision in line with global priorities and local policies.• Define and execute the long-term business direction based on market analysis, resources, organizational values, and evolving technological, regulatory, and economic conditions.• Translate strategic priorities into operational realities with measurable, sustainable outcomes.• Ensure customer focus is embedded in strategic decisions, processes, and daily operations.
Operational & Engineering Excellence:• Lead a multi-disciplinary organization of 120+ employees supporting:         o Engineering, customer order execution, and R&D        o Bid management within Gas Services• Ensure timely, high-quality deliverables across GT & ST package engineering disciplines, including        o Controls, Electrical, Mechanical, Fluid Systems, Piping, Layout, and related engineering areas• Collaborate and maintain good relations with Global heads of the engineering disciplines, Bid Managers and Project Managers regular reporting regarding work load situation, quality & on time delivery along with Keeping high degree of transparency & trust.• Foster a “Grow Global Team” mindset to accelerate decision making while maintaining high quality standards.• Collaborate & Develop 3rd party engineering vendors in India • Execute governance effectively, collaborating with local and global stakeholders.
Digitalization & Innovation:• Establish and maintain state of the art digital tools and processes to enhance productivity and transparency.• Drive digitalization and innovation initiatives to improve quality, speed, and competitiveness.• Cultivate a local innovation culture aligned with global engineering objectives.

People & Culture Leadership:• Lead, motivate, and develop managers, professionals, and operational staff.• Drive organizational and cultural change to support strategic transformation.• Create a collaborative work environment where employees can realize their full potential.• Build strong talent pipelines by attracting, developing, engaging, and retaining top talent.• Provide continuous feedback, coaching, and development support to enable career growth.
Performance & Quality:• Set and drive high standards for quality, timeliness, and cost effectiveness.• Ensure continuous improvement and accountability across all deliverables.• Plan and manage budgets related to manpower and travel in alignment with business needs.

We don’t need superheroes, just super minds:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering • Postgraduate Management qualification is preferred• 10+ years of experience in the power generation industry, including leadership roles and international exposure.• Strong expertise in Gas turbine technology, combined cycle plants, and process engineering, design, analysis, service, and maintenance concepts• Proven experience in strategic planning and transformation leadership.• Strong decision making, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills.• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.• Solid understanding of business finance, budgeting, and resource planning.• Well established internal and external professional networks within energy engineering or proposal domains.• Willingness to challenge the status quo constructively to drive continuous improvement.
