Overview

As a Principal Engineering Manager on the Azure Native Integrations team, you will lead a team responsible for foundational platform and services that make it effortless for customers to discover, provision, and operate best-in-class partner (ISV) offerings natively within Azure/ Foundry. These Integrations focuses on delivering a first-class, unified experience—spanning identity, billing, provisioning, and management—so partner services feel like a natural extension of the Microsoft platform across the portal, SDKs, and APIs, operating at significant scale and complexity. We work with large Enterprise technology provider ISVS across multiple categories: Observability, Data and Storage, Networks, Security, AI. Our work spans partner integration platforms, provisioning and control-plane services, and the paved paths that enable teams to move quickly while maintaining reliability and security.

We provide tooling, services, and operational support that allow partners and customers to onboard and run integrated services safely and efficiently. In this role you will set up the technical vision and own the end-to-end strategy for two critical charters: Azure Native Partner integration experience, and an AI-based, agentic solution that automates and orchestrates onboarding and maintainability. The team plays a critical role in maintaining trust in Azure's partner ecosystem while balancing speed, scale, security, and stability.

Azure's continued growth brings both opportunity and complexity. As a Principal Engineering Manager in this role, you will lead a team operating mission-critical systems in a fast-moving environment. You'll work closely with engineers and partners across the company to reduce onboarding friction, improve service reliability, respond to incidents, and evolve our AI-driven platforms to meet the needs of a rapidly scaling partner ecosystem. This role blends people-leadership, technical depth, and operational ownership, with a direct impact on the daily experience of Azure customers and partners worldwide.

  • Communicating effectively to stakeholders and leadership of progress and risks

  • Coordinating work within the team and stakeholders, building relationships, and identifying opportunities and areas of improvement

  • Ensuring the team produces good architectural design outcomes, secure and resilient systems, and quality code—including a high bar for agentic safety, evaluation, and reliability across services
