This is a role within Finance Operations EMEA, reporting to the Head of Finance Operations EMEA. You will own O2C KPIs for a defined sub-region and product portfolio within EMEA, execute core credit, collections, and dispute work, and redesign those workflows using AI-assisted automation. You are a finance operator first, with a demonstrated aptitude for AI tools and a track record of driving adoption in finance or operations contexts.
You partner with credit risk analytics, data solutions, analytics, and reporting teams who build at scale; your value is in prioritizing the right regional use cases, validating with real portfolio pain, ensuring controls and SOX readiness, and landing adoption with BPO and Sales stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Own portfolio KPIs: AR aging, bad debt ratio, collections effectiveness, dispute cycle time, with emphasis on improving them through smarter processes and redesigned workflows
* Execute core O2C activities: credit reviews, collections, dispute resolution, cash application, risk monitoring, while actively working to automate and streamline each one. Maintain audit-ready documentation and ensure compliance with SOX, internal policies, and regulatory requirements, including documentation standards for automated or AI-assisted decisions
* Assess current O2C workflows to identify where AI, automation, and intelligent tooling can eliminate manual effort, reduce cycle times, and improve decision quality across credit decisioning, collections prioritization, dispute resolution, cash application, and risk monitoring
* Partner with outsourced teams to drive accountability against SLAs, while identifying which activities can be augmented through AI and automation to improve SLA performance, reduce manual rework, and upskill BPO teams toward exception handling and judgment work
* Monitor portfolio-level business drivers: customer concentration, payment behaviour shifts, local economic indicators, and escalating macro risks through established EMEA risk forums. Serve as the finance point of contact for Sales leadership within your sub-region portfolio on credit limit requests, risk holds, and payment term implications, bringing data-driven insights from portfolio analytics
* Proactively identify and manage micro and macro risks across the portfolio, using data and predictive analytics to move from reactive to anticipatory risk management
* Engage proactively with Policy, Legal, Compliance, and Sales operations to navigate change and ensure AI implementations meet governance standards
* Partner with Engineering, Data Science, and Product teams to co-develop AI solutions tailored to Finance Operations needs
Qualifications
Experience in Finance Operations, Order to Cash, or adjacent functions (Revenue Accounting, FP&A, Sales Ops) in a multinational environment
* Demonstrated aptitude and curiosity for AI-assisted workflows. You have used AI assistants, no-code automation, or intelligent workflows to improve outcomes, and are committed to deepening those skills
* Experience working with data: understanding data quality, interpreting analytics, and using data to drive decisions
* Experience partnering with centralised analytics, data science, or engineering teams as a business product owner: defining requirements, prioritizing the backlog, driving adoption, rather than building models directly
* Experience driving the adoption of new tools, processes, or ways of working. You know how to bring people along through storytelling, demonstration, and persistence Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements)
* Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews)
* Experience building or deploying AI/ML solutions in a finance or operations context
* Familiarity with prompt engineering, LLM-based tools, or automation platforms
* Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologies
