The Role

The Brokerage Executive will play a key role in driving business growth by identifying new leasing opportunities, attracting prospective clients and tenants, and building long-term relationships with retailers, brands, and business partners. This role requires a proactive, results-driven individual who enjoys working in the field, has a strong understanding of the market, and is passionate about delivering exceptional client service while supporting the company's occupancy objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify and secure new business opportunities to increase occupancy across the property portfolio.

  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with retailers, brands, brokers, and other key business partners.

  • Conduct regular market visits to identify leasing opportunities, monitor market trends, and stay informed about competitor activity.

  • Promote available retail and commercial spaces through social media and other digital channels to generate qualified leads.

  • Act as the primary liaison between the Property Management and Leasing teams to ensure seamless communication and support the achievement of occupancy targets.

  • Arrange and conduct client meetings, property viewings, and site inspections, ensuring timely and consistent follow-up with all prospects.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions, leads, and leasing activities within the company's database or CRM system.

  • Prepare and submit concise weekly reports summarizing business development activities, pipeline updates, and overall progress.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in brokerage, leasing, real estate, business development, sales, or customer relationship management.

  • Proven ability to generate new business opportunities and build strong client relationships.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail, follow-up, and time management.

  • Confident using social media and digital communication platforms to promote properties and engage prospective clients.

  • Professional appearance with a positive, proactive, and customer-focused attitude.

  • Self-motivated and target-driven, with the ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.

  • Comfortable spending a significant amount of time in the field meeting clients, retailers, and business partners.

  • Well-established connections within the retail and commercial sectors will be considered a strong advantage.

  • Previous experience in commercial leasing, brokerage, real estate, or business development is highly preferred.
