Senior Secondary Side Electrical Design Engineer – Detail Engineering   At Tractebel, we engineer solutions that power the energy transition and shape critical infrastructure worldwide. Your expertise in electrical design can drive real impact across industries and communities. We are looking for a Senior Secondary Side Electrical Design Engineer to lead complex detail engineering challenges. You will collaborate with global, multidisciplinary teams on large-scale projects in the Oil & Gas and Energy sectors. This is your chance to apply deep technical knowledge where it matters most.   What You'll Do   - Lead detailed engineering of secondary electrical systems including protection, control, interlocking, and monitoring schemes. - Develop and review protection and control philosophies for Oil & Gas and Energy facilities. - Design control and relay schematics, wiring diagrams, IO lists, and cable schedules to international standards. - Define and manage interfaces with DCS, PLC, SCADA, and ESD systems. - Review vendor documents, participate in technical bid evaluations, and manage design deviations. - Support hazardous area classification and intrinsic safety design requirements. - Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement within the electrical discipline.   What You Bring   - Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering. - 10 to 15 years of experience in engineering consulting or EPCM environments. - Proven expertise in FEED and Detail Engineering for Oil & Gas or Energy sector projects. - Strong knowledge of IEC, IEEE, and API standards for electrical protection and control systems. - Hands-on experience with relay coordination, control schematics, and system interface design. - Familiarity with hazardous area design and intrinsic safety principles. - Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary and multicultural teams.   Location   Gurgaon, India – On Site   What We Offer   - A competitive salary and clear career progression within a global engineering leader. - Exposure to diverse, large-scale international projects across the energy and process industries. - Stimulating technical work with real impact on critical infrastructure and the energy transition. - A friendly, collaborative work environment that values knowledge sharing and professional growth. - Flexibility and work-life balance supported by a modern consulting culture. - Continuous learning opportunities and access to ENGIE Group's global network of experts.   Our Commitment   At ENGIE, every talent has a role to play in accelerating the energy transition.
