As a Senior Client Engineering Specialist, you will help shape the digital workplace experience for employees across Danfoss. By delivering secure, reliable, and modern endpoint services, you will enable colleagues around the world to stay connected, productive, and protected.
You will play a key role in managing and enhancing workplace technologies, including Windows devices, mobile devices, endpoint security, connectivity, and authentication services. Your expertise will directly contribute to a seamless and secure user experience across the enterprise.
Working closely with infrastructure, network, cloud, security, and support teams, you will help drive continuous improvements that strengthen operational stability and support the future of digital work.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Configure, maintain, and optimize client-side network devices (e.g., laptops, desktops, mobile devices, and network interface components) to ensure efficient and reliable connectivity.
- Troubleshoot complex network connectivity issues for end users, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
- Manage, troubleshoot, and support digital certificates to ensure secure authentication and encrypted communications.
- Collaborate with IT infrastructure teams to implement network policies and security standards for client devices.
- Monitor network performance from the client perspective and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and reliability.
- Provide technical guidance and support to end users on connectivity and certificate-related matters.
- Document configurations, troubleshooting procedures, and resolution steps to support knowledge sharing and future reference.
- Stay up to date with emerging client networking technologies, security protocols, and industry best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience configuring and supporting client-side network devices in enterprise environments.
- Knowledge of certificate management and troubleshooting, including SSL/TLS, PKI, and authentication protocols.
- Familiarity with network protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN, as well as network security best practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Exposure to modern workplace technologies, endpoint management, security, cloud, and automation initiatives.
