This position serves as a liaison and provides customer service to approximately 70 TRSL-reporting agencies and audit member records for completeness and accuracy to determine eligibility to purchase service credit, transfer or reciprocate, retire, and/or participate in the Deferred Retirement Option Plan (DROP). Examples of dutiesThree years of experience in employee benefits; OR

Six years of full-time experience in any field; OR

A bachelor's degree.

EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:
Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of full-time work experience in any field. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 semester hours which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience in any field.   • Processing and determining the actuarial cost of full-time corrections and prior year corrections.

Position-Specific Details:
Appointment Type: This vacancy may be filled as a Probational, Promotion, or Detail to Special Duty. 
Detail to Special Duty may be required for a trial period prior to promotion consideration.  Current classified permanent status employees may be required to accept a Probational Appointment.

Compensation:
This position has a Special Entrance Rate (SER) as follows:
If filled as a Retirement Benefits Analyst 1 - $1,544.80 bi-weekly
If filled as a Retirement Benefits Analyst 2 - $1,663.20 bi-weekly 
If filled as a Retirement Benefits Analyst 3 - $1,892.00 bi-weekly
