Pay Range Information
Chapman University is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this position. This range takes into account a variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Salary offers are determined based on the final candidate’s qualifications and experience, as well as internal equity and other internal factors. The anticipated pay range is not a promise of a particular wage.

Scheduling
Event Planning & Logistics• Assist with planning and coordinating School of Communication events.• Utilize 25Live (after provided training) to reserve and manage event spaces.• Support event setup, teardown, and cleanup before and after events.• May be required to be present at school or School of Communication events on weekend days; advance notice will always be provided, and hours will remain within the student’s approved weekly limit.
Office & Administrative Support• Provide general clerical support, including copying, scanning, and filing.• Assist faculty and staff with administrative tasks as needed.• Manage office inventory, organization, and supply ordering.• Maintain an organized and welcoming office environment.• Perform other duties as assigned by the Marketing, Communication, and Event Coordinator. Required Qualifications • Currently enrolled as a Chapman University student in good academic standing.• Proficiency with social media platforms: Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, and LinkedIn.• Experience using Canva or similar graphic design tools.• Strong written and verbal communication skills.• Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks.• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team. Desired Qualifications • Experience with content creation, video editing, or digital marketing.• Interest in communications, marketing, public relations, or a related field.• Prior office, customer service, or event experience.• Familiarity with 25Live or other event scheduling platforms (training will be provided).
