Job Description Summary Provide administrative and office support for the Residence Life Central office. Responsibilities The following tasks are expectations of Office Assistants:
  • Answering phones
  • Arriving to shifts on time
  • Communicating accurate and timely information
  • Supporting departmental operations
  • Providing quality customer service experiences – both over the phone and, in-person
  • Adhering to the Family Equal Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA)
  • Arriving to shifts on time
  • Using Homebase (scheduling website) to clock in for shifts, update availability and initiate shift changes.
  • Assisting with ID card issues and ID card printing
  • Attending and participating in staff meetings.
  • Conducting laundry walks if necessary
  • Handling the checkout of supplies and practice rooms
  • Using a desktop computer and telecommunication software
Required Qualifications Little to minimal prior experience. Ability to learn and retain support process. Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite. Desired Qualifications
  • Good interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
