Valiant is looking for a Logistics Branch Lead to join our team!
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES:
- Manages a logistics and maintenance program for a large and diverse organization under contract to the US Army.
- Responsible for managing all aspects of the logistics program in accordance with the Performance Work Statement and fulfilling logistics contract requirements to include, but not limited to, the following: full life-cycle management of all Government Furnished Property (GFP) and Contractor Acquired Property (CAP).
- Provide oversight of maintenance operations for all vehicles and equipment issued as GFP or acquired as CAP.
- Procurement, warehousing and storage of GFP, CAP and associated supplies and rotational commodity management and reporting.
- Prepares Estimated Cost of Damage Worksheets and Justification Memorandums for Government approval.
- Oversees logistics Quality Control (QC) operations to include conducting inspections, audits, analysis and reporting.
- Works closely with the Program’s management teams to ensure logistics responsiveness and efficiency.
- Other logistics leadership and management duties.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret level clearance. Active Secret preferred.
- Must be willing to submit to and pass initial drug screening; will be subject to random drug testing.
REQUIRED QUALIFCIATIONS:
- Experience working in support of the JRTC, in a civilian or military capacity.
- Must possess experience in property management, purchasing, supply management, replacement and disposal programs, hazardous material management, facilities management and physical security program management.
- Must possess relevant experience in the job duty functional areas listed above within the past 10 years.
- Must have previous management and supervisory experience for an organization of 30+ personnel.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Logistics operations experience at the Brigade-level or above is desired.
- Observer Coach Trainer (OCT) experience at JRTC is desired.
- Possess a working knowledge of Army Automated Logistics Systems to include Global Combat Support System-Army (GCSS-A).
- Possess a working knowledge of applicable logistics and maintenance regulations.
- Able to travel unaccompanied throughout the continental US and foreign countries.
- Must be able to work irregular schedules consistent with organizational requirements.
- Must have a valid state driver’s license.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent oral and written communications skills
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions, day and night.
- Must be able to walk and stand/or for long periods.
- Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
