Required Skills:
- Minimum of 15 years' project management experience in a Professional Services environment, leading complex Information Technology projects
- Prior functional management experience preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to implement change.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification through Project Management Institute (PMI).

Job Responsibilities
Leadership & Talent Development:
- Serve as the primary coach, mentor, and performance developer of Project Coordinators, creating a strong entry point into the PMO career path.
- Deliver structured learning programs that strengthen core PM fundamentals, financial management skills, and consultative soft skills.
- Identify capability gaps and design individual training, shadowing, and reinforcement plans to drive individual and team growth.
- Create a culture of continuous learning, psychological safety, accountability, and high morale.
- Support succession planning by preparing PCs for advancement into Project Manager roles.
Operational Excellence & Methodology:
- Ensure all work executed by the PC team aligns with PMO standards for planning, schedule management, documentation, and delivery rigor.
- Reinforce PM discipline around RAID management, status reporting, quality checkpoints, and customer communication.
- Promote strong project financial hygiene, including forecasting, budgeting basics, and cost control fundamentals.
Project Oversight & Quality Assurance
- Provide oversight and quality checks on day-to-day PC deliverables, coaching them on awareness to risks, issues, and escalations and how to manage them effectively.
- Monitor performance against schedule, scope, and financial expectations, ensuring PCs learn how to proactively manage commitments.
- Review lessons learned and drive continuous improvement across engagements.
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Partner closely with Sales, Solution Area Leads, Project Managers, and delivery teams to ensure seamless project execution and strong customer experiences.
- Build trust-based relationships with internal teams, customers, and subcontractors; help PCs develop consultative and client-facing skills.
Team & Resource Management
- Lead hiring, onboarding, and staffing for Project Coordinators, ensuring appropriate utilization and workload balance.
- Forecast team capacity needs and adjust staffing plans proactively.
- Deliver regular reporting on team performance metrics, development progress, and operational trends.
