Our Out-of-School-Hours Educators are the sharp minds and friendly faces inspiring and influencing the next generation of young people. Acting as both teacher and role-model to young students from over 50 NSW Schools, you'll provide engaging, exciting and interactive activities through our Before School, After School and Vacation Care services.
About your new role- You will provide fun and engaging activities for primary school-age children
- You will help design a calendar of inclusive, exciting, and engaging program activities
- Reporting to the Coordinators of our OSHC centres, you will be one of over 200 educators who support children across NSW
- You will be able to follow our development pathways to learn new skills and build your career
- Y NSW staff love supporting their communities, and our educators innovate learning everyday
- Y NSW OSHC Educators are motivated to develop children outside of the classroom
- Everyone at the Y NSW ensures that we provide supportive service for families
- Everyone at the Y NSW is committed to safeguarding and hosting safe learning environments
- Experience supervising and interacting with children
- Ability to follow safeguarding priorities
- Availability to supervise Before School Care, After School Care and Vacation Care hours
- Current First Aid HLTAID012 - Provide an emergency response in an education and care setting and CPR
- Valid Working with Children Check
- Police Check (paid for by the Y)
