Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced EpicCare Ambulatory Analyst to join our healthcare IT team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in implementing, configuring, supporting, and optimizing the EpicCare Ambulatory module. This role involves collaborating with physicians, clinicians, operational stakeholders, and cross-functional technical teams to improve outpatient clinical workflows and deliver high-quality patient care solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure, maintain, and support the EpicCare Ambulatory application.
- Gather, analyze, and document business and clinical requirements from ambulatory care stakeholders.
- Design, build, test, validate, and deploy EpicCare Ambulatory enhancements and system changes.
- Support outpatient clinical workflows, provider documentation, patient encounters, order management, and clinical decision support.
- Troubleshoot application issues and provide timely production support.
- Participate in Epic implementations, system upgrades, optimization initiatives, and enhancement projects.
- Perform unit testing, integrated testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Develop and maintain build documentation, workflow diagrams, technical specifications, and user documentation.
- Collaborate with other Epic application analysts to ensure seamless integration with MyChart, Cadence, Prelude, Orders, and other Epic modules.
- Ensure all configurations comply with Epic best practices, organisational standards, and healthcare regulations.
Requirements
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with the EpicCare Ambulatory module.
- EpicCare Ambulatory Certification is mandatory.
- Experience in Epic build, configuration, implementation, testing, and production support.
- Strong understanding of outpatient clinical workflows, provider documentation, patient care processes, and ambulatory operations.
- Experience supporting integrated Epic clinical applications.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Mandatory Requirements
- EpicCare Ambulatory Certification (Mandatory)
- Minimum 3 years of relevant EpicCare Ambulatory experience
- Excellent communication skills.
- Willing to work 5:30 PM – 2:30 AM IST (Eastern Time Shift) .
- Must work from the Kondapur, Hyderabad office (5 days per week) .
- Strictly Work From Office – No Work From Home or Hybrid.
- Candidates who can join immediately or are currently serving a 15–20 day notice period will be given preference.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in U.S. healthcare environments.
- Knowledge of ambulatory clinic operations, outpatient workflows, clinical documentation, and patient care processes.
- Experience integrating EpicCare Ambulatory with MyChart, Cadence, Prelude, Orders, and other Epic modules.
- Understanding of Epic implementation methodology and healthcare interoperability.
- Strong documentation, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
