- Define and maintain product requirements, user stories, release scopes, and release plans.
- Own and prioritize the product backlog in alignment with business and customer needs.
- Harmonize product releases across all CADAS modules to ensure consistency and compatibility.
- Coordinate development, safety, quality assurance, and documentation activities within a virtual product team.
- Plan development costs and manage assigned development budgets.
- Define product variability and promote the reuse of common components to ensure technical consistency.
- Monitor product performance, risks, costs, and operational targets throughout the product lifecycle.
- Drive continuous improvement of products, processes, and development practices.
- Support tender and bid activities by providing feature estimates and product expertise.
- Act as the primary interface between development teams, project managers, systems engineers, and other stakeholders.
- Improve cross-functional coordination and communication across the organization.
- Reduce complexity and prevent release delays caused by incompatibilities between product modules.
- Support the reduction of technical debt through coordinated product planning and governance..
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, Software • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Engineering, or a related field.
- More than 10 years of professional experience in software development or software-based product development.
- At least 5 years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or in a comparable product leadership role.
- Proven experience managing product backlogs, roadmaps, releases, and requirements in an agile environment.
- Strong understanding of software development processes, system architectures, and product lifecycle management.
- Experience coordinating cross-functional and international teams and stakeholders.
- Knowledge of safety-critical or regulated environments is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, planning, and decision-making skills.
- Experience in budget planning, cost management, and risk management.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Business-fluent English and German language skills, both written and spoken, are required.
- Ability to drive alignment, challenge the status quo, and foster collaboration across organizational boundaries.
