RN Clinic - Systemwide Float Pool - 262002161 Description
This is a benefited, full time position generally working 8am-5pm but shifts may vary based on assignment. Required to float to any Scripps Clinic based on need. Due to travelling nature of this position, you'll receive a differential while on this team.

Why Systemwide Float Pool?
- Scripps Systemwide Resource Services (SSRS) department supports all Scripps Clinic locations throughout San Diego. These are outpatient facilities.
- As a member of the float team, you can fill vital roles on assignments providing critical coverage for employees' leave of absences and peak service demands while gaining experience in a variety of environments.
- Be flexible, open to floating, & confident in your abilities when given a short orientation to jumping right in to help!
What you'll do:
- Shifts and locations will vary at the clinics throughout San Diego.
- Ensure Scripps patients and their families have an exceptional health care experience.
- Provides direct patient care within the scope of practice.
- Patient care includes compliance with patient assessments and care tasks, triaging, completion of clinical procedures, emergency protocols and medication administration.
- Works collaboratively with the other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.
Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills:
- ADN or Nursing Diploma
- 18 months of recent RN experience, 1 of which in a Clinic environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Must be able to demonstrate positive behaviors
Required Certification/Registration:
- CA RN license
- BLS through American Heart Association
Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification:
- BSN
- EPIC experience
- 2+ years in clinic setting
- Experience with 2 providers with 15+ patients per day
Travel Requirements:
- Work between Scripps Clinic locations throughout San Diego
