DE&A - Core - Cloud Data Engineering - Snowflake Data Engineering

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer with strong financial domain expertise. You will design, build, and optimize our data pipelines. This role requires translating complex business needs into robust technical solutions. You will collaborate closely with financial analysts and stakeholders to deliver high-quality data products and rapid ad-hoc insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Solutioning: Transform complex financial business requirements into scalable data architecture designs.
• Pipeline Development: Build and maintain secure, efficient ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Python.
• Data Warehousing: Optimize data storage, modeling, and querying performance within Snowflake.
• SAP Integration: Connect and ingest data from SAP systems and SAP Datasphere into the cloud ecosystem.
• Ad-hoc Reporting: Respond rapidly to urgent data and reporting requests from executive and financial teams.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Bridge the gap between technical data engineering and financial business units.

Required Technical Skills

• Snowflake: Deep knowledge of cloud data warehousing, performance tuning, and SQL.
• Azure Data Factory (ADF): Proven experience creating orchestration pipelines and data flows.
• Python: Advanced scripting skills for data manipulation, automation, and API integrations.
• SAP Ecosystem: Hands-on experience or strong working knowledge of SAP data structures and SAP Datasphere.

Required Professional Skills

• Domain Expertise: Strong background in corporate finance, banking, or financial data structures.
• Communication: Exceptional verbal and written skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical partners.
• Interpersonal Skills: Ability to collaborate seamlessly across cross-functional global teams.
• Agility: Proven track record of managing competing priorities and delivering quick turnaround times for urgent data requests.
