Key Responsibilities
- Test Design: Review system specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria to develop comprehensive test plans and detailed test cases.
- Test Execution: Execute functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT) across web and other platforms.
- Defect Management: Identify, document, and track software defects and glitches using bug-tracking systems, providing precise reproduction steps and expected versus actual results.
- Collaboration: Participate in daily Scrum/Agile meetings, offering insights and coordinating with cross-functional teams to resolve issues.
- Reporting: Keep management and stakeholders informed of testing progress, defect metrics, and potential roadblocks.
- Verification: Retest defect fixes and evaluate product code to ensure features align with business requirements and performance standards.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or similar manual testing role.
- Prior experience with KYC process
- Familiarity with Agile frameworks and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate technical issues clearly to both developers and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Technical Skills
- Experience with bug-tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr).
- Basic understanding of databases and executing SQL queries to verify data integrity.
- Familiarity with API testing tools (e.g., Postman).
- Exposure to automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium) is a plus.
