A master data analyst monitors and examines master and key data within Duracell. Her/his main goal will be to ensure master data integrity in key systems as well as maintaining the processes to the data quality. Identify areas for data quality improvements and help to resolve data quality problems through the appropriate choice of error detection and correction, process control and improvement, or process design strategies. This position will be part of Global Business Services located in the DCL Dongguan area. The individual may be also required to provide input to or participate in various projects and will perform other duties as requested. This role will report to the Master Data Senior Analyst/Master Data Manager.
Responsible for owning, maintaining, MDM data objects (Customer, Vendor, Pricing, Material general and accounting data)
Act as Master Data subject matter expert (SME) – troubleshoot, resolve MDM issues
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather required information and execute Business master data needs and support internal/externa audits.
Enforce established data standards and guidelines.
Prepare Master Data load files and/or manually input the changes directly into SAP.
Responsible for following the governance of new products going into the system that do not meet the set business requirements.
Responsible for following standards, guidelines, processes, and expertise to consistently address recurring strategic enterprise master data issues.
Maintain business ready data in SAP, Ariba, SNOW and comply with service level agreements.
Responsible for supporting the testing of MDM change requests/ MD projects.
Monitor recurring exception reports and initiate data clean-up opportunities.
Studies in business administration, product supply, finance, or other related field; or provable working experience
Minimum 2 years’ experience preferred.
Preferred experience working in an ERP environment SAP.
Preferred experience with SAP Master Data/ SNOW/ Ariba /Salesforce
General knowledge of master data and how it applies to business.
Accurate data entry skills, attention to detail and follow-up abilities required.
Strong organizational skills
Intermediate to expert knowledge of Microsoft Excel required.
Excellent written and oral communication skills. English speaking mandatory.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work flexible hours in peak seasons while working with international teams.
