Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Revenue Manager to join our hotel operations team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In this strategic role, you will be responsible for optimizing revenue and profitability across our franchised hotel properties through data-driven pricing strategies, inventory management, and market analysis. You will work collaboratively with hotel leadership, sales, and operations teams to maximize revenue potential while maintaining competitive positioning in the dynamic Dubai hospitality market.
- Develop and implement revenue management strategies to optimize room rates, occupancy, and revenue per available room (RevPAR) across franchised properties
- Analyze market trends, competitive positioning, and demand forecasts to inform pricing decisions and inventory allocation
- Monitor and manage distribution channels, ensuring optimal rate parity and channel performance across all platforms
- Prepare comprehensive financial reports and forecasts, including budget analysis, variance reporting, and revenue projections
- Utilize revenue management systems (RMS) and hotel property management systems (PMS) to track performance metrics and identify optimization opportunities
- Collaborate with hotel general managers and sales teams to align revenue strategies with operational and marketing initiatives
- Conduct competitive set analysis and market intelligence gathering to maintain competitive advantage
- Manage room inventory allocation and length-of-stay controls to maximize revenue opportunities
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance revenue management efficiency and effectiveness
- Provide training and support to hotel staff on revenue management principles and system utilization
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and present actionable insights to senior management
Qualifications
- Minimum 3-5 years of revenue management experience in the hospitality industry, preferably with franchised hotel operations
- Proficiency with revenue management systems (RMS) and hotel property management systems (PMS)
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with ability to build models and analyze complex datasets
- Strong understanding of yield management, pricing strategy, and revenue optimization techniques
- Demonstrated experience with competitive analysis and market intelligence tools
- Knowledge of hotel distribution channels and online travel agency (OTA) management
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Strong financial acumen and ability to interpret financial statements and metrics
- Proficiency in data analysis and business intelligence tools (preferred)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to collaborate across departments
- Professional demeanor with strong organizational and time management abilities
- Familiarity with franchised hotel operations and brand standards
- Knowledge of Dubai hospitality market dynamics (preferred)
