Data is the context layer that turns generic AI into personalised, differentiated customer experiences, every AI conversation is a data conversation, and getting a customer's data estate cloud-native and AI-ready is what turns a pilot into production. The Data Strategic Initiative is how we drive that motion across APJC at scale. This role is the programmatic engine behind it: you will re-prioritise and stack-rank what the initiative commits to, run the leadership cadence that keeps sponsors and area sales leaders aligned, and simplify the data narrative so the field can carry it. This is not an operations/reporting role, it is a strategic, stakeholder-facing GTM program role that sets the agenda and keeps the whole initiative moving.

Key job responsibilities
• Own the programmatic go-to-market for the APJC Data SI — set the operating rhythm, drive the agenda, and keep the initiative moving
• Build and prioritise the motions within the SI — re-prioritise commitments and stack-rank short/medium/long-term by expected impact so the team focuses on what matters most
• Manage senior executive stakeholders — run a crisp leadership-update cadence that messages up without spamming, and keep LT sponsors and area sales leaders aligned
• Simplify and land the data message — turn a complex portfolio into one clear narrative the field, customers, and partners can act on • Motivate and focus a distributed, multi-geo team across five geos and time zones toward delivery
• Interlock with WWSO on the sales-play "menu" — bring a strong POV on what fits the APJC narrative and shape what doesn't

A day in the life
One morning you're re-cutting the SI priority stack ahead of a leadership review, deciding which motions get amplified and which get parked. Midday you're in a working session simplifying the data narrative into something the field can actually use, then briefing an LT sponsor on the progress in a tight, no-noise update. In the afternoon you're unblocking an area sales leader who's pushing back on "more reporting," reframing the ask as removing admin and simplifying, then rallying the distributed V-team on the next milestone. You move between prioritisation, executive communication, and keeping the team focused, measuring success by the initiative's momentum.

About the team
This role sits on the APJC Data GTM team and is the right-hand for the Head of Data, APJC on the Data SI. You'll work as an integrated unit with GTM Specialists, Specialist SAs, area sales teams, partners, and the WW Data org to drive data adoption across APJC. The Data SI spans two clean motions, 1/ data for migration and 2/data foundations for AI and this role keeps both prioritised and moving. We value people who Earn Trust and Dive Deep, who can build a shared vision across strong-willed stakeholders, and who measure success by the collective progress of the initiative.

- Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional programs or marketing campaigns from concept to completion

- Exposure to sales/GTM motions and the cloud or enterprise-technology industry
