Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Legal Counsel - Product Liability (f/m) to join our Legal Corporate Affairs department based in Toulouse, France.

Your challenges:
Leading the day-to-day management of cases, coordination and logistics for external investigations and product liability related matters;
Conducting legal research on a variety of topics in various jurisdictions;
Drafting documents and providing legal advice under the supervision of the Head of Investigations & Product Integrity Legal in particular to internal customers on liability aspects;
Providing legal advice and supporting engineering, safety and security related activities;
Reviewing internal documents and technical documents communicated externally;
Organising or contributing to training and awareness initiatives designed to prevent legal issues from arising;
Coordinating and managing long-term relationships with internal and external stakeholders;
Assessing and integrating AI in product liability topics and daily activities;
Ensuring timely and adequate reporting on all ongoing matters.
Supporting the pro bono practice of the department.
This role may require regular business travel.
Your boarding pass:
Educated to master degree level (or equivalent) in Law in France, education in another European country or in the US would be a plus.
7 years of experience working in a law firm or in-house legal department, with a good understanding of complex product liability cases including investigations and litigation in France and other countries and insurance .
Very keen on learning about Airbus products and their technicity.
Ability to interact and influence the business and to work in a complex environment.
Ability to simultaneously support several complex legal and internal procedures involving multiple internal departments and third parties.
Ability to build excellent internal relationships to access factual information and ability to manage the transformation of general and detailed information into a legally coherent and concise case
Language Skills: negotiation level of English and French.
