Summary20250729091951_Application Logo.jpgWe are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Small Engine Repair Instructor to deliver hands-on training in Small Engine Repair. The instructor will prepare students to diagnose, maintain, repair, and rebuild a variety of small engines and outdoor power equipment, equipping them with the skills needed for entry-level employment or to maintain their own equipment. Keep student records and adheres to course schedules.
This position will be located on the Midlands Technical College Airport Campus Examples of dutiesAt least three (3) years of recent experience in small engine repair, outdoor power equipment service, or a related mechanical field.
QualificationsPrevious teaching, training, mentoring, or workforce development experience. Industry certifications related to small engine repair or outdoor power equipment. ASE, Briggs & Stratton, Kohler, STIHL, ECHO, or other manufacturer certifications.
Supplemental informationAdjunct faculty are compensated in accordance with Midlands Technical College’s established pay schedule. The standard adjunct pay rate is $40 per hour. Final compensation may vary depending on academic credentials and total course credit hours. Any variation is determined upon hire and outlined in the faculty employment agreement.
