Phlebotomy Technician 1- Inpatient - (260002R2) Description
The Phlebotomy Technician collects quality blood samples using various methods (capillary, venous, ultrasound) while ensuring patient safety and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities include patient identification, specimen labeling, handling, and transportation across all age groups in general care areas, pediatrics, the Emergency Department, Intensive Care, and Trauma Units. Must maintain patient confidentiality and uphold Tampa General Hospital’s vision and values.
Qualifications- High school diploma or G.E.D. or completion of recognized Phlebotomy course
