Introduction
The Outreach and Research Programme of the Department of Paediatrics and Child Health has ten community-based field sites across Pakistan (including four in Karachi) and focuses on research for betterment of women and child health. The Department has a Nutritional Research Laboratory as well as an Infectious Disease Research Laboratory that cater to the needs of its research projects. It has well-acclaimed work to its credit both at the national and international level.

Responsibilities
You will be responsible to:
- supervise and monitor the data collection activities of junior staff, research assistants, and Community Health Workers (CHWs) in the field to ensure strict adherence to the cohort study protocol.
- coordinate and execute scheduled field visits to track established cohort patients, manage follow-up timelines, and work flexible shifts to ensure continuous study oversight.
- evaluate and validate collected field data for accuracy, resolve discrepancies with junior staff, and assist the senior MO in compiling weekly and monthly progress reports.
- provide technical training and clinical guidance to field workers and junior staff on screening protocols, and assist the senior MO in managing daily health center activities.
Requirement
You should have:
- MBBS plus One Year house Job/internship
- 1 year experience preferably in field/Community/Paediatrics
- willing to work at field sites
- ability to work in a team
- ability to establish harmonious working relations at the place of work
- flexibility in taking over additional/new responsibilities when required by project
- knowledge of application of related software packages
- good communication Skills in English & Urdu, knowledge of Sindhi would be an advantage
