Informatica ILM Implementation  Design and implement archiving solutions using Informatica Data Archive Informatica Application Retirement Informatica Test Data Management (preferred) Informatica Data Validation (preferred) Configure archival policies, business rules, retention schedules, and purge policies. Design archive access mechanisms to ensure business users can retrieve archived data when required. Support legacy system decommissioning and application retirement initiatives. Data Governance & Compliance  Define and implement data retention and disposition policies. Ensure compliance with regulatory and legal requirements such as GDPR, SOX, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, and industry-specific mandates. Support legal hold processes and audit readiness requirements. Collaborate with data governance, security, risk, and compliance teams. Database & Application Analysis  Analyze application data growth patterns and recommend archival strategies. Identify archival candidates and define subject areas for archiving. Work with application owners, DBAs, and infrastructure teams to validate archival requirements. Required Technical Skills  Informatica Technologies  Strong expertise in Informatica Information Lifecycle Management (ILM). Hands-on experience with Informatica Data Archive Informatica Application Retirement Informatica Data Validation Informatica Test Data Management (preferred) Experience in archive schema design and archive data access solutions. Database Technologies  Strong experience with Oracle SQL Server PostgreSQL DB2 MySQL Good understanding of database architecture, partitioning, indexing, and performance tuning. Data Management  Enterprise Data Lifecycle Management Data Retention & Purging Data Governance Application Retirement Data Migration & Transformation Metadata and Reference Data Management Cloud & Infrastructure  Experience working with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP. Understanding of storage lifecycle management concepts. Knowledge of enterprise backup and recovery strategies  Minimum 5–7 years of experience in Informatica ILM/Data Archiving implementations Preferred Experience in Banking, Financial Services, Insurance, Healthcare, Telecommunications, Manufacturing, or Retail domains. Experience in large data volume archival projects. Exposure to cloud-based archival strategies.
