RN Specialized - Neurosurgery - Torrey Pines Clinic - 262004207 Description
This is a benefited, full time position generally working Monday-Friday from 8am-4:30pm with a closing shift of 8am-5pm once/week and occasional Fridays on a rotating basis. Hours will vary as needed. Located at Scripps Clinic Torrey Pines in La Jolla but may travel to other sites as needed.

What you'll do:
- Ensure Scripps patients and their families have an exceptional health care experience.
- Provides direct patient care to high acuity patients in a complex department within the scope of practice.
- Engages in complex clinical procedures and may provide clinical assessments to surgical patients in the hospital setting.
- Patient care includes compliance with patient assessments and care tasks, triaging, completion of clinical procedures, emergency protocols and medication administration.
- Works collaboratively with the other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.
Required Certification/Registration:
- Current CA license.
Current American Heart Associate Healthcare Provider BLS certificate.
Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification:
- 2 year RN experience in an outpatient clinic.
- 3 years RN experience in Neurosurgery.
