Monitoring and managing Property Store Development spend with a variation of less than 2%
Identify the trends and patterns to drive cost efficiency
Highlight the insights & risks from cost report to Property Approval Governance.
Build capability:
Set clear objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs) for the cost management team
Recruit, train, and mentor a team of quantity surveyors.
Assign responsibilities, set priorities, and monitor team performance.
Foster an inclusive and results-oriented high performance team culture.
Supplier Experience:
Oversee the negotiation with suppliers, contractors, and vendors to manage the budget efficiently.
Periodically share supplier compliance and performance feedback with procurement.
Risk Management:
Identify potential risks related to project costs and develop mitigation strategies. Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes affecting cost management.
Quality Assurance:
Ensure that cost management processes and procedures are consistent and comply with industry standards.
Conduct periodic audits and reviews to maintain accuracy and integrity in cost management and reporting.
Continuous Improvement:
Stay updated on advances in cost management software and tools.
Implement best practices and innovative approaches to enhance cost control and efficiency.
- Bachelor’s Degree in civil engineering with minimum 15+ years of experience in Quantity Surveying
- Experience in construction management preferred
